Liberty Arts is celebrating its 10th year of the Iron Pour this November, and the party starts now! Join us at the Liberty Arts Foundry in Durham Central Park for our 10th Anniversary kick off party! Learn more about the Iron Pour by chatting with members of our Pour team and taking part in various educational workshops. We’ll also be hosting the first Iron Pour scratch block class of the season! Plus, learn about all the associated Iron Pour Programming we have planned leading up to November.

Hot Metal Cold Beer
Design your own cast bronze or aluminum project while spending an evening surrounded by fire, art, and good company. Hot Metal Cold Beer is part foundry experience, part happy hour, and all access behind-the-scenes look into one of Durham's most unique art spaces.
Flameworking: Mini Potted Succulents
Want a house plant you never have to water? Come make your own out of glass that can be displayed in a mini terracotta pot! This class is beginner friendly but previous students are encouraged to join as well.
Casting Bronze Sculptures: A Foundry Introduction
Discover one of the most approachable ways to create a cast bronze sculpture. This workshop introduces students to the fundamentals of relief sculpture by using oil-based sculpting clay.

Iron Pour Scratch Block Classes are here! Get a head start and register for one of our first two classes of the season. Be a part of the historic 10th Annual Liberty Arts Iron Pour by carving a block which will become a modern heirloom in November!

In celebration of the 10th Annual Liberty Arts Iron Pour, Liberty Arts is hosting an exhibition showcasing 10 years of tiles! If you have carved a scratch block with us as part of an Iron Pour or Aluminum Pour, you can use the form below to submit your piece to be a part of this monumental exhibition. This is not a juried exhibition, so all work will be accepted until we reach maximum capacity. Work will be exhibited at Liberty Arts Studios during October Third Friday. We invite you to attend the opening reception!
