We are asking for a $250 fully tax-deductible donation during our mid-year campaign. Why $250? This is the average monthly cost of fueling the studio with basic supplies for working artists, teachers, and community members who sign on for Liberty experiences. A $250 donation will have an immediate and lasting impact, enabling accessible arts education, nurturing creativity, and strengthening the bonds within and around the community of Durham, NC. ABOUT LIBERTY ARTS
Over the past 7 years, our artists have taught more than 1,000 classes taken by 2,700+ students in our community. Our artists have created over 30 pieces of permanent outdoor sculpture, including Major the Bull in CCB Plaza, here in Durham as well as across the surrounding area. We’ve awarded over 25 scholarships to members of our community.
