Durham Tech
Liberty Arts and Durham Tech are working together to provide students in the Associate Degree of Fine Arts Program the opportunity to take a ceramics class. The class meets weekly for a semester in the Liberty Arts Ceramic Studio. The course culminates with a student show in the Liberty Arts Gallery.
durham children’s Initiative
We are proud to be working with Durham Children’s Initiative whose mission is to partner with the community to provide Durham youth with opportunities to connect, develop, and contribute through mentoring, employment and educational support. For three months, Liberty Arts artists mentor students in ceramics, jewelry making, welding, casting and silk screening. At the end of the mentoring period, students will display their work in the Liberty Arts Gallery.
Josh’s Hope
We partner with Josh’s Hope Foundation on projects that help strengthen students’ technical skills and personal expression in the industrial arts in order to promote independent living.

We are proud to be working with SUSO for the first time in 2022 to provide artistic instruction in pottery, welding & letterpress printing.
