For Gianine, jewelry is not just an accessory; it is a dynamic form of personal expression that should constantly evolve. Gianine creates layered and textured pieces that honor the earth through the exclusive use of recycled metals and ethically sourced gemstones. Her foundational material is Argentium Sterling Silver, which is 100% recycled and is valued for its tarnish resistance. 

Gianine blends modern sustainability with time-honored traditions, specifically the Korean gilding technique of Keum Boo. Fusing 24K gold foil to silver using only heat and pressure allows her to paint with metallic contrast. Gianine feels that repeating the same design stifles her artistic growth, so she dedicates her practice to mostly creating one-of-a-kind pieces. Every design marks a new direction in her journey, resulting in an unrepeatable treasure.
