Jim Gallucci has been a sculptor for over thirty years. He has worked as an arts instructor at the University of North Carolina in Greensboro as well as the University of Alabama in Huntsville. He was an exhibit designer for the North Carolina Zoological Park in Asheboro. In 2007 Jim earned a Diploma of Nomination for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Jim works full time designing and fabricating sculpture in his studio in Greensboro, assisted by a staff of six.
He often uses the format of gates and doors in his sculpture in order to give the public access to his art.
