For thirty years Bill Russ produced photographs for the North Carolina Division of Tourism, Film, and Sports Development. Bill’s images have been viewed by hundreds of millions of readers in domestic as well as international publications. Working with travel editors and writers Bill will go to great lengths to bring back the perfect photograph to illustrate the article, whether it be about a beautiful destination, wonderful North Carolina food, or one of our rich cultural treasures.

Before working for the State of North Carolina, Bill lived in Milan, Italy working for Lu’Omo Vogue Magazine shooting fashion and lifestyle photos. Bill was a sports and features photographer while at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for the student newspaper and yearbook.
