Originally I trained and worked as a MD in Europe. After moving to the United States I started to explore my artistic side. 10 years ago I took welding and metal working classes and started my apprenticeship with Jimmy Alexander, Blacksmith and then chair of the NC Abana Association. I have been working with metal ever since and am currently concentrating on brass and copper “paintings” and wall hangings created using a variety of patinas.
I enjoy color and contrast and collaborating with my colleagues at Liberty Arts.
